Personal Profile:

 

I am the main developer of CASAMARLES, an interdisciplinary working and living space for cultural producers and researchers in Barcelona. I am currently working as an assistant curator intern at the Florence Art Trust in London while studying as a cultural researcher at the MA Creative Media Arts in the London South Bank University. Together with Emma Hammar and Louise O’Kelly I am part of the curatorial partnership Nomadic Projects. I am an energetic, creative and empathic individual with a will to further expand my professional and academic development on the study and promotion of cultural initiatives.

Work Experience:

 

Since May 2007: White Cube Gallery, London. Supervisor and Gallery Assistant.

Duties included: Being the first point of contact for visitors and assisting in various tasks for the Reception Team. I was in charge of supervising 10 invigilators and responsible for the health and safety and the opening and closing of the space.

 

August 2005-August 2007: The British Museum, London.  Part-time Gallery and Front of House Assistant.

Duties included: Being the first point of contact to visitors, solving general inquiries, administration tasks and assisting the Box office team.

 

January 2005- September 2006: The Playhouse Theatre/ Open Air Theatre, London. Box Office Assistant.

Duties included: General reception and box office administration.

 

May 2001- September 2004: Bloc Cultural Services, Barcelona. Researcher and developer of Cultural Activities.

Duties included: Responsible for the development cultural activities and guided tours for the main museums and cultural sites of Barcelona and Catalonia.
